Wesley Steiner flexed his arms — and with that, Auburn’s future at linebacker got that much stronger.
The four-star 2020 inside linebacker from Warner Robins, Ga., committed to Auburn on Tuesday afternoon, announcing his decision on Twitter with a video that shows him shouting out, showing off his muscle and pounding his chest.
Somewhere near the Plains, Auburn linebackers coach Travis Williams could do the same. Steiner is the third linebacker with four-star accolades to commit to sign with Auburn as part of the class of 2020.
Steiner is rated as a four-star player by all of Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN.
He plays at Houston County High School in Georgia.
Steiner has been invited to play in next January’s Under Armour All-American game.
He’s listed at 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds on Hudl.
Steiner joins linebackers Trenton Simpson, from Charlotte, N.C., and Cameron Riley, from Evergreen, as linebacker commits pledging to sign with Auburn as part of the 2020 class.
