NATIONAL SUMMARY

A cold front will push through much of the Mississippi

Valley tomorrow. Ahead of this cold front, an area of rain

is expected to develop early and continue throughout the day

from Missouri into northeastern Texas. A few showers are

expected from central Texas down to the Gulf Coast. Farther

north, this cold front will bring snow to parts of Minnesota

and much of the upper Great Lakes. A few snowflakes will

arrive in the lower Great Lakes and Northeast by sunset.

Elsewhere, mountain snow will continue for much of the

central and southern Rockies as a storm system pushes south

out of Montana. A bit of rain will sneak into coastal

Southern California by the afternoon, with dry conditions

expected elsewhere in the Southwest.
